for example if u want to play fifa, would you be able to use ur ps2 controller

and does 40gb ps3 work ps2 games?

No, it must be 60gb. Not sure about the controller, there is nowhere to plug it in, right?

A computer usb dual shock type controller would work as well. Not with ps2 games though since they don't have the PS button.
