Can you do these things on the ps3?

• Perform other actions on your ps3 while it's downloading for instance, a game demo? Like xbl? 
• Custom Soundtracks?
• Download your own background via usb like xbl?  I have a sexy looking model for my 360 background btw!
• Can you use a keyboard for when you use the web browser?
• Do regular dvd's play in progressive scan like on the 360?  Dvd's look fenominal in 480p
• PS3 scaler?

I know there's a big firmware update coming, but knowing sony they probably will miss most of these things.  Also knowing my self I probably wasn't aware that most of the things I listed, the ps3 already does. :P

You'd like to think this sort of stuff would get moderated, but this is Gamespot, and their forum policy is that nobody "forces" PS3 users to come here, so...

Out of 130, the Xbox 360 playback scores 20.  The PS3 scores 120.  Also, 1080p upscaling is coming, something the 360 can't do.

I know it sounds like I'm flaming, but I just want the best out of my ps3 purchase.  I guess everything I listed is coming except for custom soundtracks, right?

If it makes you feel better I just bought a 360 for Halo 3, Bioshock, and GeOW, I'm getting the ps3 for all my favorite action titles(DMC, MGS, GOW, Heavenly Sword looks promising, and NG now that it's on ps3). 

You guys are all paranoid. Just because he was asking some questions about the PS3 (and somehow compared it to the xbox360) doesn't mean he is a fan boy, and it doesn't mean he is flamming the PS3. The same happened to me when i asked some stuff about Xbox Live in the X360 forums, because the Xbox Live service in Portugal completely sucks and i asked if it was normal, blah blah. I got flammed, everyone was calling me a fanboy when i myself have a Xbox360. What's wrong with this forum ? So much paranoia >.>
