I was wondering what modes there are, how much you can customize the cars (I LOVED GT4's car tuning), the number a tracks, and any other tidbits that you think I may need to know. I really want to know if the GT4 career mode is back. I was really disappointed with GT PSP's lack of modes, customization, and the fact you could not buy the cars you wanted since you had to wait for the dealer to sell cars to you.

I guess what I am asking is if it is like GT4 or GT PSP. I loved GT4 but absolutely hated GT PSP.

picture gt4 but a 100 times better. thats gt5 the only minus is the loading times but after a while you get used to them. its not like loading times effect the racing physics so its all good. the most realistic game it is that comes to real driving....

It is fantastic. If you loved GT4, GT5 is right up your alley.

Just know it is VERY realistic, the most realistic of the whole series imo.

Bravo Polyphony, bravo.

another quick note...

GT5 uses a leveling up system, and the more you level up, the better cars and events you can enter. Thats about the biggest difference between GT4 and GT5.

I love it, if you liked GT4 you will feel at home with GT5. Load times get better after you install randomly playing through. It was alot longer when i first started yesterday and now it seems faster. The only downside is that you can change rims or do racing modifications to standard cars (~800). Other then that its fantastic, imho better then forza 2 (never played 3 so i cant compare it). Just wish they had more american cars.

By racing modifications I assume you mean buying new parts to get better performance? Like engine upgrades?

No in the GT Auto place its the last option, it turns your car pretty much into a race car.

Every car you can mod pretty much, except the race cars from my understanding. I could only buy tires for my nascar for instance.

I actually ended up get MOH and NFS. Gamestop did not have any copies of GT5 used yet(I was going to do the buy 2 get 1 free but they did not have BO either and all the other games I can get PC). So I bought MOH and NFS for 35 bucks each at Bestbuy new. Although I heard MOH was so-so, butI heard NFS was amazing. So we'll see.
