Hey I cannot go online, if I buy a PS3, so my question is. Will I be able to play my PS2 games on it. I think they only sell 40 Gb where I live?

you are not making any sense if you got the PS3 40gb you can't play PS2 games if you got the 60gb you can play the PS2 games without updating but you can download the firmaware for PS3 with a pc..

The 40 gig will not play any PS2 games. The 60 and 80 gig will play most of the PS2 games out of the box, but the coverage is much better after the latest firmware updates.

It depends on the firmware it comes with, I think that the 1.8 or 1.9 firmware did a good bit in upscaleing the PS2 games anything before that wasn't as good.
