Lol it wouldn't even really be possible, the PSP has less buttons than the PS3 controller, and no motion sensing. That someone you heard it from, is an idiot.
We can maybe hope that we can play some downloaded games and ps1 games sometime in the way future as I read in an interview forom a Sony guy stating it as a possibility (dont know where I got this but it was from a gamespot interview during E3). The PS3 I know when doing remote play does ALL the processing and then streams it. For a PS3 game where all this processing is dedicated to the game I wouldn't expect it to ever be plausible for a developer yet to make this happen. But with PS1/2 games hopefully sony someday could make this happen since it is possible. Still consider network lag and the lack of buttons/analog sticks that Sony wouldn't consider it unless it worked flawlessly. So ultimately it is totally possible, but not yet feasibly implimentable.
