My friend's PS3 just died (we even tried a factory reset but nothing and it's used so he can't send it into Sony) so he is thinking about getting an old, PS3 launch model (for a good price) with backward compatibility. Only problem is it's 8GBs and that'll go quick. Can he replace the hard drive with a bigger. 500GB one? Thanks.
