Can you video chat while playing R:FOM online

I did not try the webcam yet with the PS3, can you video chat with friend while playing R:FOM online, or just from the PS3 home menu?   Remember Sony show this at the E3 with a racing game you can see your friend face or anyone who is racing you.

How is the picture and video quality to those who have their cam hooked up to the PS3?

No you can't you can only use video chat in XMB, but they will probably add this feature with the new Eye Toy.

They show us some screen from late 2006 when 2 kids play F1 and there was some kind of bar on right and they have video chat there.. someone make even topic with those screens here...

I suppose this will gonna be a  next update after europe an AU launch

it would cause quite a bit of lag to have 40 people and video chat... actually 2 people and then video chat would lag it as well. Dont expect to see video chat while playing a game any time soon on any console as it would be just too resource intensive for them.
