for the past week I've been trying to add funds to my PSN wallet only to get the above message. I've reset my billing info multiple times making sure it's correct and I've purchaced downloads on the PSN countless times before.

When I searched the net for this problem, it appears to be rather common and, as far as I've found, unsolved in the past 5 years people have been experiencing this.

Have any of you fine people experienced this technical dificulty and do you by any chance have a solution.

Well I finally managed to add the funds, but I had to transfer the money to PSN through Paypal. For some reason trying to add funds straight through PSN or the Sony Entertainment Network website doesn't work.

Just curious is it a debit visa card or just a regular visa card.

The only time I had problems adding funds is when I tried to use my debit visa card. It works everywhere else online but not on psn.

It's usually the billing address. Whenever I type the billing address in all lowercase letters and leave the apt field blank even though I live in apartment it always works.

I have had a similar problem with Visa. When I ordered through the PSN website I was charged but didn't receive the actually balance to my account. I had to call Sony to get a refund. They did do this so be careful if you order through the website :-)
