Okay, last night my PS3 froze and I turned it off. This morning when I went to play I turned it on and after the Sony Computer Entertainment intro part with the music it went to: Cannot start. The correct hard disk was not found. What can I do? I installed a 160GB about 9 months ago and its been perfect. I tried unplugging the power, took out the hard disk and put it back in, but nothing has worked.

Anybody know how to handle this? Do I need to put the old hard disk back in? Thanks in advance for your help.

turn it off and press the standby button till it beeps then do it again and youl be at the recovery screen then just re-install the ps3 system or if the hardrive light is lit all the time then your hard drive has frozen your ps3 and you have to send it in as the same thing happened to me a while ago lol

Right now I have the old HDD in there, and its all working great. I did try to hold the standby button, but the screen went black and then it came to the Cannot Start screen after a brief delay. I'll try it some more, and the other stuff too.
