Cant log into psn.

Anon is ridiculous, they're waging war on Sony to "make the PS3 better" but in turn are jsut ruining everything, why the hell they would want hackers in everygame is beyond me, and lol at their free spech BS, it's Sony's online that thay own, Sony makes the rules...

So in order to get back at Sony for filing a lawsuit against someone who practically asked for it, they do something that inconveniences the users that they claim to be in support of more than Sony itself?

I got two different ones, mostly this one though.

I was just playing Shift 2 and getting the usual messages about "so-and-so has logged in" and "so-and-so had logged out", so I'm assuming it's working okay.

Funny, i was just logging in to play a few rounds online with black ops but even if i was able to log onto psn in the first place, i wouldn't have been able to play black ops. go figure.

I suspect Sony is doing the maintenance themselves... building new fences to keep annoying neighborhood kids out.

8071053D is the error code I was getting about 20 minutes ago, but now I'm getting 80710092.

I hate these annoying error codes because I couldn't get to play Uncharted 2 online.

I'm on now, it might've actually just been maintenance, but I dunno, it's kinda fishy that PSN does down the same time Anon "wages war."

I was getting the same error code too but what I did was remove the switch plug off the wall, remove power cord, put power back in, plug in and it worked. At least for me.

they are doing maintenance due to anons threats, psn will be down from 8am to 7pm pacific time, although i wouldnt be surprised if it stays down til 8 or 9

I haven't been able to download anything from PSN either. I've bought a few things, and tried downloading but it never progresses. Beifre it was fast, maybe this is involved too?

Edit: I will say though that moving through the PSN Store is still incredibly sluggish, but the music service is doing pretty good.

I think sony would be able to scrub any DDoS attempt anonymous may throw at them. I am not worried about the script kiddies. Stay strong sony!

They aren't exactly script kiddies, its much more than that. I just hope theres a defence, or atleast the best they can do.

You can't exactly sue Anonymous, its not one person, its lots of people from all over the world.

Yeah i am getting the samething. I was going to log onto the dragon age servers to get a code to download mass effect 2 for the pc since bioware is given it away for free, but im getting that stupied error message now i can get the code to download it. I hope it gets fixed soon.

I was able to sign in, but not without a few impediments.

Mine is working fine still. It's been fine all day. It seems the Anonymous guys are backing off though. You'd think they'd have realized BEFORE that screwing with the PSN would affect every customer with an internet connected PS3.
