Can't register my jabra headset

that came with warhawk. i have the plantronics 320 registered now but i want to try the jabra as the plantronics makes my ear hurt after awhile and theres always a slight static sound when I can hear.

But what happens is i read the instructions, it says to have the jabra headset off, which it is. then i went to register headset, and it scans, then after awhile it gives me an error message and signs me out of my profile, and it keeps scanning for a couple minutes until i stop it because nothing registers. am i doing something wrong?

while the headset is off, hold down the button until the light stays solid and then register it.devincl

ok, i did try something like that. the headset was off and i held the button for like 5+ seconds and nothing happened. i'll try again though.
