When is Capcom going to make another actual game? When will Capcom make another actual good game? When will Capcom get out of MS's butt? It is funny how companies like Capcom complain about the ps3, but they never really have used it. Sure there is DMC 4, but that doesn't show anything ps3ish about it at all. I just think companies need to actually use the hardware exclusively before making judgments on how hard things are, or that there isn't enough of a user base to have an exclusive.

Once again I am not starting system wars, but the wii has got over triple the user base of ps3 and third parties are now complaining that their games aren't selling on that platform. This means that all that talk about ps3 userbase being small is kind of a lie and these companies going multiplat just because they want to. Why don't they just say that then?

Capcom owes ps3 users a game, since DMC went multiplat and Monster Hunter 3 is on Nntendo now.

How do you figure Capcom owes you something? How about Capcom owes it to themselves to sell games and make money. If you hadn't noticed, going exclusive to one platform is no longer profitable with the development costs of games these days. Who cares if other systems get to share in the great games? Do you make money if Sony gets exclusives? Didn't think so, so quit whining and enjoy the games you do have.

I failed to see a multiplatform game that had exclusive quality gameplay, graphics, and proper frame rates for EVERY system.

Just thought I'd throw that in there. Capcom's Devil May Cry 4 MIGHT make me eat my words. But then their's Heavy Rain...

Look, developers, and rightfully so, will go where the money is. Right now the 360 has more then double the installed base then the PS3 does, and developing for the Wii is cheap. It's easy to see why they want to make previously Playstation exclusives multiplatform, and obviously with the installed base of the Wii, not to mention much lower development costs, why they want to do this.

They aren't screwing anyone, they are doing what any company would do, and that's maximizing profits. This is a smart move on Capcom's part, and anybody with any sense or knowledge of the industry would agree.

I believe the PS3 is doing well considering it's price, lack of high profile exclusives, and the competition, but game development cost has sky rocketed, and nobody, not you, me or anybody, is in the business of losing money. Capcom is trying to maximize profit, and while I can understand that Playstation fans are upset because a long standing franchise is no longer available to them, you have to think about it from their point of view.

The only way for Sony to rectify this is to pay handsome sums of money, and they have said they are unwilling to do that. Even if they grow the installed base, it isn't as easy to make money on games as it used to be, thus, exclusives will mostly be multiplatform now.

Developers have to worry not only about recouping costs, which are high, but they also have to make profit. It's much harder to make profit on games these days so we will see more exclusive games then ever, become multiplatform games. It's the nature of the beast, and it's become more important then ever to own all of the systems, and even if this is unfortunate for some people, if you want to enjoy all of your favorite games, it's almost a necessity.

Sad? Yes.

True? Undoubtedly.

They say it's to hard to make for the PS3 (push overs), yet they just released another dev-kit. And it's for free. Monster Hunter only seems to have good reviews, but I've never even heard of it till before. I know nothing about the game & I'll share no interest in research videos or anything now.

If they want to stuff the Playstation, I'll stuff their products. I'll be buying my Final Fantasy XIII no matter what.

They know the motivation the Playstation is gaining & how much it'll grow when the big games are out. At least they should! They happen to have ones, they're fools. Baka
