Hey, I'm looking to buy a ps3, I want the 80g so i get backwards compatible, but I was reading somewhere that the 40 gig has the newer, smaller cell processor in it which makes it use less electricity and whatnot. My question is should I wait for the new 80gig one with mgs4, will that system have the "newer/upgraded" hardware in it?

I don't know about all that but if you have a choice between the two I would go for the 80 gig. Your gonna get b/c, ds3 and mgs4.
