They had to kill it with the Darth Vadar silkscreen on the back. I've been waiting so long for a white PSP to be released in the States, and I know many people have. And now that it's coming out here, they had to ruin it with something.
just import the japan or euro white psp they dont have vader on them. only downside is you wont be able to play umd movies or music videos those are region locked

I think you misunderstood...he meant they are REGION locked, meaning that a Euro PSP can't play American UMD movies. A Euro PSP can play EURO UMD movies just fine. Its the same for the US PSP's, they can only play local region movies, not Japanese or Euro.

but the darth vader image is on the battery cover i believe, so i dont doubt you can just take that off and buy or create your own custom cover, i'm not a big fan of he Star Wars serires either so i thought the same thing when i first saw it, and on top of that they showed off how the ***. version of the system has FF characters sephiroth, zack and cloud looking like bada$$es.
ya i dont want anything to do with darth vader on the back of my psp either. but since its only on the battery cover, maybe a plain white cover will be released?
