Changes in 3.00 probably didnt know about!

So far i'v noticed

1-Dual audio outputs

2-Upgraded flash player

3-HDD subtitle options

4-Some of my MKV files are now working while some of them still dont

5-Taking screenshots of web browser (saving them to your HDD which is my fav)

6-Copy and Past in messages ( like this one as well)

If anyone noticed anything more please post here!

Some of them actually started to work from my external HDD ( which used to not work) while some of them still dont work.. its kinda confusing why tho.. they all should work if some files worked

Im still a little confused about this as well.. its like only specific type of MKV files now started to work.. for example ( gundam seed destiny MKV file :P now works perfectly while it used to never work) on the other hand Valkyria chronicles anime also MKV but still dosent work

Another thing from PSforums:

This was something small that I noticed. If you have the sparkling wave set and you move your controller, the sparkles will scatter. I tried swinging my controller left and right and the sparkles would sometimes scatter or move in the same direction. Just thought i'd let you guys know since its pretty cool.

Cool, thanks for replying because that was the only thing I really disliked about the browser well that and not being able to access my yahoo mail account.

I also noticed something else with this update, I now can't type in these forums on my PS3 browser :( The text box doesn't show up when I try to reply to a message

Theres also a new Start Up Screen.

I also noticed that if you scroll down a long list of icons in the XMB, a scroll bar appears on the left side with a notch that moves up or down, showing where you are in the list.

also a new feature, if your looking at settings, and and stay on one for a seconds, the rest will lose focus and that one will come into veiw.

copy and paste in messages seems useful, Good that sum MKV's work now, and dual audio output uh (what exactly would that be?) but really i always thought u could save photos you found on PS Web browser before this update happened...guess not.

PSP Video 9.. I convert my .avi to .mp4 so I can watch on PSP & PS3, but when I do soft-subbed .mkv, the subs are like bye bye.

I just loaded the 3.0 firmware update and it still has the irritating plug-in request when using the browser for no good reason.:evil:

They need to fix this.

Trophy percentages have been changed so instead of 75% which you had before 3.00 you can now have 90%

You thing that people dont realize is that Sony changed the friends list because there going to revamp it so it looks a bit like this

Keep in mind the icons on the bottom only appear when you press X on your friend. (I added the friends icon; so we can see the friends of our friends)

Get mkv2vob. It has the features necessary for subtitle conversion and it's pretty much the best .mkv format converter (assuming that your files are mkv) available.
