open it up and hardwire the light to always be on if they left the lights in from the demo models they showed at e3 awhile ago.

Interesting, so you can actually make the PS button light up yourself... Well, if you're lucky that is.

Interesting, so you can actually make the PS button light up yourself... Well, if you're lucky that is.Thomas-Crown

And if your unlucky you end up with a $60 (canadain) paper whieght. Its a win win ;)

i did this to my 2 sixaxis controllers! i have never even had prior soldering experience!! It's much easier than it looks!

Thanks for the instruction but it looks complicated. If I were to do it myself, my controller will definitely be a paper weight :P Since the sixaxis is light, I doubt it will be a good paper weight either. :P
