I don't know if it works or not but I'm not gonna throw $50 down the drain to test it.

i heard that it may or may not, personally i dont think that it would, im with other post, wouldnt want to waste $50 to try it

i dont see why not. match the chargers voltage and milliamps with the controllers. if the amount is greater, than the controller will only draw out what it needs to charge. if its less then it wont work. you do know sony has a wall charger for the controllers now but it is like 25 bucks.

what i do is change my ps3 options to do a automatic shutdown after 1 hour of no activity. so when im done playing, i hook up the wire and turn of the tv, go about my business. when i come back to play later its fully charged.
