charging your controller?

is there a way to do this while your not playing and not leaving the ps3 on.

nice, but is there a chance it might mess it up cuz the controller says 3.76 volts max (something around that number) cuz i found a charger for a cell phone that plugs into the controller but im afraid to try that

Charging from the USB on your PC is fine. However, your controller may fail to connect to the PS3 afterwards. You may have to power your PS3 off VIA the power button in the rear to fix this.

It does not say that. I found that out the hard way thinking I had fubar'ed my controler.

You can charge it on your PC, or if you want you can buy a Charger/Stand from your local gamestop. I have a Energizer Charging stand, looks nice beside my TV and PS3. Black with Chrome just like my sexy 60GB. Your looking at about $29.99, can charge up to 4 controllers (2 extra usb ports on the side and comes with a AC power adapter) you can find more on gamestop.com
