I wanted the go but it is not really too expensive, i would have enough by then but i know it is not going be a PSP2 so I want a 2k or 3k system. I had the 1 and 2000 psp already but traded it for a 360. What is a good place to buy a PSP for NOW?? Are there any deals going on? I already know enough not to get one used, so how do I get a new one cheap? What are the odds of only paying around $100 for a new 2k or 3k system?

I don't see any 2000k system on sale anymore. You can get the basic black 3000K bundle for 169.99. Thats the cheapest I counld find it unless you go to a Gamestop/EB Games and trade in some old games to get a discount on it.

You can probably get a PSP used at Gamestop for about $100-$130 if you add tax.

If you are poor, then maybe this is the last thing you should be considering to buy.

dell is probably going to be your best bet for a used psp under retail. They've gone as low as $120 +tax, but it's been sitting at $140 + tax for a few months now.

You might see a unofficial price drop when the GO is released, or the price might jump up to retail... it all depends on the sales.

I'd say your best bet is ebay. I got a used psp 2001 with a 4 gig memory stick and two games for $112 bucks. True story, lol.
