Cheats on GTA4 =bad

Mess up the game as in, corrupt it? Or mess up as in not allow you to progress in the story?

Considering that in the "Stats" category of the Pause menu, there's one stat counter for "Cheats used" I assume it's safe. Try it out, and save the game on a different file (slot 2 for example) and don't overwrite your primary file until you're sure everything worked out fine.

I wish there was an invincibility cheat so I could just mess around. It's annoying to have to call the phone everytime I need health. I don't care about the other cheats.

If you mean calling the phone everytime by dialling in the numbers you don't have to after you've activated the cheat once the phone will have another title called cheats and you can choose which one you want to activate from there

yeah but it does get annoying and hard to even open up the phone menu when you're constantly being shot.

Isn't there a website in GTAIV internet that lets you choose the cheats you want to use and also view maps that let you find all the extra stuff like the jumps and pigeons.

So I'd say using cheats would be fine.

It's a matter of pride, nothing more.

Dude u dnt need the money cheat by the time u get 2 about 30% once u finish a certain mission u gain a whoppin 250k !! and i hav never gone below 250k ever its more than enuf money dude jst wait it out!!

I think using cheat codes mess up your game exp i used them when i was like 15 but it seems pathetic because I like to beat it straight out.
