I wipe it down with a microfiber cloth and about once a month, I take one of those air duster cans and spray compressed air into the vents to blow out whatever dust may have accumulated inside.

I clean it every time I see dust on it, could be every week or week and a half. I use what The_X_Factor_9 uses, but a normal cloth, duster or towel will clean it. If you don't want dust on it, or anything else, put a sheet or cusions over it when not in use. :D

keep it dust free and the area around it dust free, also, blow a fan thru it once a while to get all the dust out of the system to keep it from messing it up

I use eyeglass lens cleaner and a really old, soft cotton T shirt. I figure the lens cleaner is safe for all those delicate coated eyeglasses, it's safe for the PS3. I use it on the TV screen as well, I do everything once a week. Haven't cleaned the vents yet, I suppose if I see some dust in them I'll use the hose on the vacuum.

I clean it probably once every fortnight. I Just suck all the dust out of the vents (with a vacuum of course), and give the whole thing a wipe down with anti-bacterial wipes. I clean my controllers probably ever week though, they pick up SO much dirt it's unbeliavable.

Hand vac to suck out the dust, works for me, and maybe once in a blue moon I used the hand swift brush with a very soft - whatever it calls - for the out side.

Where do you get a microfiber cloth? I hear thats what you need to clean the PS3's glossy exterior but I don't know where to go and ger one.

Run it through a car wash :D Or use a micro-fiber cleaning cloth.

I would think they'd have them most places now, maybe even Best Buy. It's recomended for most ekectronics. GameStop sells them, but I'm not sure if they have any stabd-alone or if they're all in accesory kits.

I bought mine at Frys B&M. Pretty cheap, they work well on the PS3 and my two Flat Panels Piano Black finish - no scratches. I also use them to finish dry the LCD Screens, after I use a cleaning pad, which can leave the screen clean but not quite dry.

Actually the Ps3 will clean itself I just recently found out. Turn the back power switch off, then hold down the eject button and flick the back power switch back on, you will hear a noise but its just the air being released from the ps3. It will go into a standby mode but i just switch the power button off and on again. Learned it from this site, http://www.gamegrep.com/news/8618-the_playstation_3_can_clean_itselfs_of_dust/

dont use a duster can i would say if you want dust out get a hair dryer with cold shot and on low blow it on the vents or get a vaccum.... or put it ina cryostasis chamber that is air sealed and ihas a regulated humidity and temperature of 60 degrees. constant, then you should be good
