Konami reads this blog and responds to it. So far everybody is replying askin for trophies. This could work.
There are a lot of incentives for Konami to patch in trophies. Non MGS4 owners: Believe or not, some people (mostly ones that bought PS3 since christmas) dont buy games unless they have trophies. So you get these people. Current MGS4 owners: Other than pleasing your fans with a nice gesture... it would get people playing MGO (which i heard has a small community)... and then they would be far more likely to buy the expansion packs theyre releasing. Considering they put manpower into creating Rabbit costumes for MGO, youd think with all the response they get theyd patch in something the community actually wants. I have no reason to play MGS4, i have beaten it and theres nothing new to play for. Thats why i want trophies, so i have new challenges
only if they're retro active. if not then I won't bother( I already got t the hardest emblem ). though I wouldn't be a bad thing if it has trophy support.

Every time Konami posts on the PS blog (every other week)... whatever the subject is, about 90% of the replies are about trophies. Its pretty funny, most people ignore the actual post content. Would be pretty annoying for a Konami rep, but you figure theyd just get it over with. I even asked the guy who runs the blog, Jeff, and he said hes dying for trophies too and would comment to Konami about it
I just bought a PS3 and Metal Gear Solid 4 very recently and it is a very big bummer that there are no trophies. Hopefully though, Mr. Hideo Kojima will snap into his senses and make a new Metal Gear. Such a shame that Snake is getting so old, seems like just yesterday that I beat the first one in Shadow Moses. Anyway, keep trying to post on the forum to Konami about the Trophies and such because I recieved a reply back that it may be in the works. xD
