Cloverfield and Chimera similiarity (SPOILER)

For anyone who has seen this movie, do you think the head of the monster looked like a huge version of a Chimeran Hybrid's head?

Btw, if you havent seen this movie then go see it! Its awesome.

Edit- Now because of some of these users whining, Ive decided to put this in here aswell. It is JUST THE HEAD. And its a small similarity anyway. The body is completely different, and the size. You guys who think this ruins it for you, trust me, it doesnt. Its not like I ruined the movie, and if you wanted to see it for the mystery, please do because there is a huge ammount of mystery left. So even if you think this completely ruined it for you, it didnt so stop whining and go see it.

I collect plastic and rubber replicas of movie-monster's heads as a hobby. You're trying to tell me this doesn't ruin what's basically a mystery movie for me?

Look guys, it might make you think that knowing that has ruined the mystery for you, but its just a freakin head. And its only a small similiarity, its not like its definatly a Chimeran head. It has a few things in common, and thats all.

Still, go see the movie because its definately an amazing movie, but I dont understand why youre getting mad. Personally, I dont think its that big of a deal at all, be cause theres much more to it than a head, but if I say anymore I will spoil it.

But it's the fact that you can actually describe the monster, I was hoping it'd stay a mystery the whole movie.

It was a good/ok movie, I liked the "surprise thingies" that were "hitch-hiking" TC knows what I mean :D
