I'm anticipating it, but not enthralled about it. While the original game (in any of it's 3 versions) is one of my favorite action games ever, I got the sequel for my 360 last year; I must say it needs quite a number of tweaks and adjustments if it wants to become better than it's predecessor. Enemies apparently no longer know how to block your attacks at all, and will just counter attack through your attacks while you're in mid-combo. Essentially the enemies are no longer as smart as they were and just rely on brute forcethroughbeing attacked.
The amount of projectile spam in the game is borderline asinine (especially the rapid fire rocket launchers); even more BS is how the rocket guys at a distance need time between shots to visibly reload, but the moment you get w/in 5 ft of them they no longer need to reload again ever.
Then there's the technical issues. Having hectic fights where the framerate drops to basically zero throws off timing and is not cool. The camera is also set a bit too low to the ground and too close to Ryu; which limits your view in surveying your situation and that's a critical thing for a reflex based action game like NG.
I do like the fact that Sigma 2 is adding in a playable Ayane and Momiji, and that they actually look fun to play. Hopefully some of the things I mentioned above are touched on for the game because otherwise I'll just stick with the first game.
