is anyone having problems with the server? when you first log in and try to pick what type of game to play, and it say downloading content and it take along time? just wondering. if so , whats the deal with that.

you need to go into your router setting and open some of the ports. i had the same lame problem.

open these ports:

3658, 3478, 3074, 3075 (UDP) and ports 80, 443, 5223 (TCP).

and that will work

I don't have a router only a modem and I switch the eithernet cables between my pc and ps3.

port forwarding is complicated. Just set your ps3 ip in DMZ.You're good to go.
