Trust me man, I opened up all the ports. I opened up ports for PSN in addition to the ports to supposedly make COD4 work. Although I was able to get in game finally last night, I didn't understand why my friend can't connect to my party or vice versa. I was talking to him on the phone and he would tell me all that was happening when he accepted my invitation. He said that his screen went black and it said "Unable to connect to host." Then I sent another invite, and he finally got into my party but then the game dropped him. He sent me an invite, and same thing happened. I got an invite to a Sabotage game from someone else, and I was able to get in game and play. I paused the game to invite my friend, and he couldn't connect. Honestly, it's just stupid at this point. There's no reason whatsoever to not be able to connect with my friends, especially when we both have good connections.
I heard that the patch was already sent to SONY and all they need to do is release it. If that is true, I can almost bet that SONY won't release the patch until they accumulate enough sales from exclusive titles such as Unreal and possibly Haze for next month. If they have the patch, and released it to fix the problems in COD4, I don't believe too many gamers would focus on getting Unreal or Haze just yet. But hey, I could be wrong. If SONY has it, they need to get with the program and release it.
[QUOTE="mrvic87"]Same connection speed. Oh well, I am not going to get an expensive router (I have a netgear) just for one game. All of my other games work fine. I am just waiting for this so called patch to come out already. [QUOTE="dstryr13"] @mrvic
