Was wondering if I should pick up Call of Duty 4. I have played the series before but I do not have an internet connection at home to play online. So does anyone think I should still get it or should I not waste my time?

Why get a next gen system without the internet? It's like buying house without a roof. Yeah you can go in it, but once you do it sucks.
is it worth it? hells nyah it is. the single plyer campagn is amazing and the multiplayer is ubievable. better than halo in sooooo many areas... forget jumping and running and throwing grenades, think about cover and weaponry!

you must have lost your mind. the single player is well worth the the 60. the multiplayer is just a bonus! since have games become good only if they have multiplayer?

i originally bought this game with no intention to play online..this of course changed once i set up my online connection and now i cant get enough!! but yes single player is lotsa fun..and there is always a potential to have online later one!! :D
The single player is an amazing experience but you can beat it in an afternoon, still you will have lots of fun going through it multiple times after you have finished it.
Where CoD4 really shines though is in the multiplayer and you will be missing out on a lot SO HURRY UP AND GET THE INTERNET!
