CoD 5 STORY?!?!

Iunno about you guys but I think it would be sweet f they made a CoD 4 sequal, (not anytime soon) but picked up the story where they left off, I don't think the other CoD have had a story that lasted more than a single game, so I think they should maybe do something like, bring Captain Price back (somehow other than just having him show up) and doing something amazing like the ability to pilot submarines or multiplayer tanks maybe?

Oh BTW when you repost don't just go "Bad idea" add some insight and discuss the theory?

I think it would be awesome because I really got into the character and thought the last Act was simply stunning!

Yeah, that seems sweet, i kinda got into the characters too, it would be fun to be 'Soap McTavish' at an age of 40-50, kicking the russians ass (ass=donkey lol). Anyway, i wonder how they can make the next cod interesting, maybe insert some new perks and guns? Improve sniping? Have it 'futuristic'. Doubt it, probably make another WWII.. bore.

Probably, but if they could differ the futuristic games from chrome guns that have laser ammo, into some kind of... hardcoreAmerican hitman /w alot of tatoo'swho gets transported into the future with his trusty battle rifle, tries to take down the enempy robot race threatening to destroy the world. Or maybe not. It is a Call of Duty afterall... but they could have Soap McTavish as the main character.. OMG so many possibilities, i wish i was a game developer, looks fun and gaming is my hobby. I

Anyway they never confirmed that he was dead in the story. The last scene just showed the soldier trying to revive him.

In the last scene it shows a soldier trying to revive him and then gives up and pounds his chest, as if he was dead, maybe you join up with Nikolai and Kamarov and they bring back Price with some AMAZING twist and need to defend the entire planet, perhaps destruction via ATOMIC BOMB!!!!!????? :o And I don't think WW11 would be good at all to be honest, people get the whole modern vibe from CoD 4, I think anytyhing other tan 2006-2010 would destroy the game and turn too many people off, I mean from Halo and Mass Effect to the Unreal series and even DOOM. I would be off the wall if they brought back Price and you could play as Jackson and MacTavish perhaps even leave off directly after CoD 4 and maybe your at a hospital when it is attacked?

I don't know, this probably wont happen but um, does anyone have the article on Infinity Ward dealing CoD over to another company?

I think that if they were to bring vehicles into the game it would turn too much into a game along the lines of Battlefield 1942 or battlefield 2. Leaving the game as strictly a melea game makes it unique. its more or less fair in that sense.

i thought there was something about cod5 being back in ww2... could be wrong i'll look for a link.

and also wasn't there something a long while back announced where the company who made cod2, and the company who made cod2 big red one were alternating between cod games??

No. I'm pretty sure he dies. If you look carefully before the camera backs away, you see a Russian soldier punch him because he couldn't get him back to life.

yeah i want the next cod to stay modern no going back to ww2 like some people are saying here.

Im sooo sick of WWII shooters. ive overplayed them way to much and its always the same thing...Modern Warfare was awesome and maybe they should make a few more of these, but then again i might get sick of that too if they make too many!

They did the whole Iraq Terrorist middle east thing war. They should do WW1. I mean yeah no Machine guns but using those old weapons would be fun to use if they put em in properly

Yeah, because I rememeber the crazy ending....the dude throws you his pistol at the last second and you shoot the dude in the head....thats one of my favorite parts of the game.

Maybe they should make a more futureistic approach? i mean, not to the extreme like UT3, but maybe some invisible camo, ya know, that kind of stuff...almost like more of a halo type of thing. But i wish they would keep the modern idea of war....its sooo much more fun.

Well, they can use currently existing prototypes like GRAW2 has or the loosely based Metal Gear. But then again, they'd have to make a whole new enemy, which could be based on the whole WW3 theory of China fitting the bill as the next super power threat.

But if they want to go back so much, go back to Vietnam, Cold War heck, even The Gulf War. But not back to WW2. The Allies won. Hitler's dead. The gamming society has stopped him a zillion times. Time to move on..
