CoD: Black Ops vs. MoH

Which one will you be getting, which do you think will be better and why.

But to answer the question, I'm getting Medal of Honor because the campaign looks better and I'm tired of COD games.

MoH's campaign looks infinitely better, but CoD's multiplayer is like crack. I'm pretty excited about the customization options and the currency system too.

I've pre-ordered both and I'm anticipating MoH a lot more. I like the approach to creating a more authentic shooter-game than the hollywood-esque approach CoD employs (which I still enjoy, nevertheless).

The single-player of Medal of Honor looks better and it's longer.

At least we know that DICE will fix everything wrong with Medal of Honor, since DICE always updates their games and they had a beta months ago. Black Ops is having a smaller amount of people in the beta and it will be open for a shorter amount time meaning that their will still be some bugs when the game launches. Also, Treyarch is nowhere as good as DICE when it comes to fixing problems with their game. The MP40 never received a nerf in World at War (and that was probably the most overpowered gun in any COD game)

Just Medal of Honor for me. Activision are charging £5 extra for this year's COD game, just like last year, which is a disgrace.

MOH cause COD is getting old for me.

Medal of Honor for me. My only reason for not getting Black Ops is Bobby Kotick.

I'll be getting both. I was always going to get MoH and I hope that the campaign and multiplayer stand up to my expectations. As for CoD:BO, I told myself I wasn't going to get it but after seeing all the hype, admittedly it does look good and the multiplayer could be a lot of fun (which is the main feature of any CoD game). That coupled with the fact that I can guarantee all of my friends are going to be playing it for quite some time.

But why dont you answer my question and tell me whats great about MoHs online gameplay? Treyarch do patch problems but you overlooked that over a gun.

Medal of Honor will be a more fast paced version of Battlefield for people that like Battlefield's gameplay, but think its pace is too slow. It will have the problems in the game patched regularly, it's objectives based, and requires teamwork.

And overlooked that over a gun? Are you kidding me? How about Treyarch stops being lazy and actually nerf things that are overpowered. World at War's online is unfair since the MP40 is ridiculously overpowered and half the people use it.

Also, Blacks Ops won't be perfectly balanced like everyone thinks it will be. Sure, the perks looks good, but I think some of the guns are going to be overpowered based on some gameplay videos I have seen. For example, look at this video. The gun looks very overpowered. Some guy on that video even got 15 thumbs up for saying "that the gun already needs to be nerfed."

Also, search and destroy might become broken. Imagine your team is defending and half of your team puts a camera spike on A, and the other half on B, and they all camp the entire round. They will know when the attackers are planting, and where they are planting. They could even put C4 on the camera spike so when the enemy goes to turn it off they die. Also if you have hardline, you could get the RC car in 2 kills. Since there is not a time limit on the car, just have it camp by one of the bomb sights. So when someone plants the bomb, BOOM!

Medal of Honor for me. My only reason for not getting Black Ops is Bobby Kotick.

No need to worry, nothing has changed in North America. It's just £5 here in the UK. It's the same thing they did with Modern Warfare 2.

Maybe you didn't look at the perk list, because there is no perk called cold-blooded. And besides, if you are referring to Ghost, it only makes UAVs not see you.

BO is promising... a lot of cool things than MOH

If I was going to buy one, I'd lean towards MoH just because it isn't made by Activision. But I probably won't buy either~

I picked BlackOps. More cause I played the MoH beta and it feels exactly like BC2, almost y the same game in a way. I've already played countless hours of BC2.
