CoD3 Disputes

don't wanna get into trouble so here it goes....Played both...both are good....PS3 downfalls reported by GS are BS no matter how you slice it....are they bias? I dunno....wiki them and you'll see they gave Resistance the lowest score of any review magazine....hmmmmmmm *wonders* anyways take it for what it is, this is my friendly way of saying what I did earlier.

It looks like you are aiming for System Wars?  If so just post it there cuz this is the PS3 board and stuff so yea.SportsFanatic10

well, in GS's comparison, they used component, not HDMI. that may have something to do with it. imo, HDMI is definitely sharper, cleaner and the colors are usually different than component. this is why you usually need to calibrate your HDTV for different connections. this is one of the flaws in GS's comparison imo.rahzel54

I Don't think he's going for a System War, But i do understand what he's saying, i have COD3 and RFOM and they both are Great games, i would pick RFOM over COD3 for the fact that the single player is alot longer, but as in Game play, they both are dead on the money, but every where you look G4TV,GameStop,IGN, all these gaming sites put down the PS3 NO matter what game, and no matter if Sony has the fastest of everything out there, they put down Sony for every reason in the book, and since the PS3 has came out, with all this Power everyone is starting to see That.Eric_VA

That's what i'm Saying .... PROFESSIONAL... come on now, i think they pick up people off the streets and asked them what they think of this game .. and take their word for it.

wow...Okay..XBL Gamertag: SuperGayJesus and PSN ID: Thine-Gayeth-One first off so I'm not accused of being a liar. I just played BOTH versions of CoD3....the review and "comparison" were TOTAL BS!!! No offence to these "hard workin" reviewers but yeahhh......hmm...I'm all about giving a game a fair shake but they dropped the ball on talkin smack about the framerate and graphical "brightness." First off as an advid player of the 360 version (used to be I don't really play 360 too much anymore, and NO! not cuz it's not awesome. ) But dang this game looks a lot sharper on PS3 and I don't care what ANYONE says either! I have played BOTH and compared! Even my friend noticed a sharp difference. The PS3 version being a tad bit brighter, but shows off a whole lot more in the distance with greater clarity! My final verdict is this....both are GREAT versions! If you want the amazing online play I suggest 360 version, if you want the prettier version imma say PS3 all day. Honestly if you want top notch console FPS action get Resistance, if you want a decent FPS get CoD3.

It's because gs reviewed both games on component "to be fair" just like they played all 1080p capable ps3 games in 1080i "to be fair". That's why so many ps3 games were deemed subpar graphically to their 360 counterparts. The gs reviewers didn't utilize all the advantages of the ps3 to make them look better.makingmusic476

Honestly COD3 is crap on every system. It has nice character models, but over all the only thing that is fun in multiplayer. That said, event he multiplayer gets boring fast. They should just leave the COD makign to the people who made number 2.
