COD4 down?!!?!???!?!?!?

i've been trying to get on since last night...

is it down or something? i can't even get in a game..

I hate the stupid Find A Game thing too, I wish I could just search myself and join whatever maps I want.

It would be nice if they did something like how Socom was set up. That was the best online community for a multiplayer game.

deos any one actually know how many serveres they have, coz im sure they could do with a few more, as for the wait to get into games, i no there not huge waits but hay!

Yeh, it is starting to take the mick now. Tried last night, two games both ended before thet even started with Host Ended Game. First you wait 5-10 minutes to join a game then that happens >:(. A mate of mine has COD4 on the PC and he said there is hundreds of servers available to him.

Seriously though, the PS3 online is beginning to look like a waste of time as it was with the PS2. Don't know why Sony do something about this rubbish because this can only hurt them in the long run as more gamers will opt for XBox Live.

Not only that but it's Infinity Ward's Servers that are the problem. Sony has nothing to do with that. It's like calling the Electrician to fix your plumbing. Infinity Ward needs to step up and provide more servers or allow PS3's to act as servers.

I demand an explanation, followed by compensation. 360 owners are getting compensation because XBL was down, so we deserve something of the sort. Maybe new features for COD4?BurningChimaera

360 owners are being compensated for two reasons -

1. XBOX LIVE was/is down. Not just one game.

2. They pay a monthly fee for the service. They deserve a refund for the time they're unable to use that service.

This is just one game on the PS3 that is having trouble because the game's creators have a bad server (or servers). Had the entire Playstation Network gone down, Sony may have done something nice for us but that simply isn't the case and shouldn't be expected from them. Now Infinity Ward, on the other hand, should maybe give everyone a few more points of XP for the hassle.
