I had to create a different psn account to pay for and download the expansion pack, but I want to use it on my original. I installed it while logged in to my original psn account but when I log in to COD4 it still says that the pack is disabled cuz I dont have it installed, is it because I payed for it on a different account? I never installed nor played nor used the pack on the account I used to pay for it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I should add my original account is UK but I only have USA credit card, so I made a US account and installed it on the UK account, is it region locked?
The expansion packs or anything from the PS Store only works with the region the original game is from. So if your COD4 game is the UK version, you need to buy the UK version of the map pack off the UK store. They are in different formats. USA is NTSC, UK is PAL, they are not compatible. Why this is, I have no idea, but it has been this way for over a decade.
I installed it on the uk account its on the same ps3, i have both accounts on my ps3 but i want to play it with my uk account cuz thats the one i have all my rankings in
