cod4 is it good or not?

can anyone tell me if cod4 is good or not because i sak people they say its rubbish and some other people and they say its great and i cant decide to get it or not because what ive heard is that cod4 online is good but the storyline is short and rubbish it tht true?

Yeah, it's horrible. That's why it's the most played online game on both PS3 and 360.

Common sense tells me, it should tell you the same - that it is in fact a good game given how it usurped Halo 3, has satiated any desire for Haze - and there is nothing on the horizong to best COD4 for most played online game.

Here's something else that will seem strange - how about you get the game, and form YOUR OWN OPINION?! WOW that would be something different these days wouldn't it?

it's comments like yours that give people brain tumors. With that aside COD4 did get game of the year, though personally I don't think it deserved it, it's still a very good game. The only real thing anyone has to complain about the game directly is it's short single player mode. That's basically it everything else is pretty solid.

It's comments like mine that expose how little people think, and also hopefully prompts them to do a little thinking. This dude is just following the crowd if he is going to purchase or avoid purchasing a game just based on what other people say.

o and the graphics are nearly as good as you think, but if you have an hdtv, they will make you salivate the first couple of days or two- its the fact that theres next to no destruction in this game that holds me back from praising its graphics- though i do love them- its just that game like brothers in arms hells highway look sooooo much better (yeah i know its being released way after but we've all seen it for the most part) because of the fact that it has destruction.
