Good for M$. The end of this year will be M$ and Nintendo's sadly.:(

But after this year all our games will be superior. Because after this year M$ and Nintendo have nothing. Where as all our heavy hitting titles come next year. So while we may be losing the battle we will win this war.:D

thats why im sticking to sony's own great exclusives on the ps3...

What's most discouraging here is that the Playstation 3 has the hardware to make a smoother, superior version to any console on the market. It's certainly not the easiest to develop for, but that's because it's not a PC in a box. It's a more complex developmental structure, and I'm losing a lot of respect for developers who turn out half-a$$ed versions of the same game, blaming the development cycle. :roll:

Why don't wait until its released, even if it is coming from PSU.com? CoD4 is still a great game that should not be missed even if it has a little AA problem! Hell, you only notice jaggies if you sit too close to your TV.....

Recently put the PS3 version on my wishlist.

I'll wait to see what IGN, Gamespot and others have to say.

A Playstation sources also gave Warhawk a 6.5 though.

I am not really looking foward to call of duty 4 anyway, I don't like modern day fps shooters. I am going to get haze instead.

This is no surprise since infinity ward are PC developers and developing for the 360 is very similiar.

Seriously wtf is going on with some devs and the PS3. The Ps3 is a powerful machine, same as 360 and yet it can't handle some AA? I mean look at Ratchet and Clank and Drakes Fortune, those are gorgeous games and they've got great frame rates and AA, so why can't IW do it on the ps3.

Why on earth is it taking so long to catch up with multiplat games, performance wise and graphic wise. Its getting ridiculous now.

and we will see how the game looks when it comes out. many critics look more critically at the ps3 and find "framerate issues" more often because after a few bad games such as madden they begin to expect them which causes them to find these problems in any way possible where as they dont look so critically when looking at 360. i say wait for the game to come out.

I have a 360, Wii, and a gaming PC. I'll get a PS3 for the real release of Gran Turismo 5 if it turns out to be better than Forza. I bought my PS2 for GT3, driving sims are my favorite games.

If you want to dismiss what a PLAYSTATION WEBSITE says(a notable one too at that, not some tiny little blog), then enjoy sticking your head in the sand. Do you really think a Playstation only site wants to downplay the graphics of one of the biggest games of the year? Why would they make up something like that? Think for a minute before blindly replying. If this was a 360 site, or even a multiplatform site, I could see being skeptical, but a PS3 only site?

These two 'inferiorities' as you 360 fans might call them are so miniscule you'd have to be a GS reviewer to even care about them. I have yet to see a limited edition anything that is worth crap, and a few jaggies - which probably only crop up if you sit and stare at obscure places - are going to be so small all I can say is big whoop. If anyone is going to buy a $60 game and investigate it for problems that haven't yet been found on another system, they need to have their systems burned. This is such a pointless thing to nitpick about, is this what gaming has come to, finding stupid little tiny problems and calling one version of a game inferior? Aren't they all the SAME exact game? My god people, just play the games, paying even $60 for a game warrants nobody to put another system down. The only people that deserve to say anything about one system versus another are the coders that put in endless hours to give us the games, the rest of us deserve only to pay up, shut up, and sit down to play them.fntsycloud

God it's so nice to see someone in a forum with some sense for a change. I stated this exact same fact on another thread drudging this up. I've been gaming for over 20 some odd years and we've come to splitting hairs over LE's and the chance of maybeseeing jaggies? This not only proves that no game in the past or the forseeable future can be a "perfect game", but you just can't please everyone. If those so called cons, if they should be allowed to be called such, deter you from enjoying videogames then you need a new hobby for real. This is getting real sickening and is turning a great form of entertainment into hollywood.
