Both scored 9 out of 10 on gamespot. Which one should I get. Heard good things about COD4. Finished Half Life 1 and Opposing Force but never played HL 2 or any episodes. Please give me some guidance.
hey...i'm getting a PS3 soon and i'm confronted with the same dilemma, hahaha. i think that while COD has the great gameplay, Orange Box has the value and the staying power to hold your attention and keep you interested for a while longer than COD. Plus, I've heard nothing but good things about Portal, so thats a good sign.
You get so much with the Orange Box is impossible not to advise getting it. HL2 (which has always been considered a fantastic game), two episodic sequals for it, Portal (which won game of the year at GDC), and Team Fortress 2 (it may not be as deep as COD4's multiplayer but it still really fun).
Definitely Orange Box it comes with some of the greatest and most innovative games in videogame history and is also one of the greatest values in videogame history8) Definitely go for Orange box over COD 4
I heard The Orange Box is really laggy and has insane load times unlike the 360 version. If this isnt true, Ill get it in a heartbeat. I love COD 4 though, and the new maps are coming otu soon.
