i know what you mean dude it's like " hey baby i missed you so much!*a few days later..* man i gotta get that Barret" so freaking annyoing, why didn't they let us keep our weapons?why?
apparently there are 8 prestige modes so there are 440 different symobls to gain, they should have let us keep our weapons but just keep going like 56,57,78,123 etc...

If they let you keep your weapons and perks, then what would be the point of Prestige mode? It would just be another set of ranks to achieve after Commander...

1. There are 10 different prestige modes.
2. When you go prestige, you have the same symbol for an entire prestige.
BTW when you go to the barracks and select 'Prestige Mode' does it chuck you into prestige directly or ask you if you want to go prestige? I don't wanna accidentally hit it and get pulled back down.

thats why i'm going to stop doing prestige for a while, i'm Prestige 2 lvl 55, and i'm jsut gonna have fun for a while.
same here. i don't see the point of prestige anyway. supposedly, people won't take you serious if you're a low ranking prestige guy, but they're minds change when they're looking down the end of my M16 with red tiger camo.

lol, exactly, i'm working my way towards my red tiger camo on the m16, 50 more headshots!
They should have SOME type of reward for choosing Prestige Mode. Maybe like giving you special weapons or attachments, maybe even more perks! Cause I'm at Lv.55 and I still don't have all the attachments and camos for each weapon, so why would I restart?
