Last time I played Call Of Duty 4 was about 3 weeks ago and was wondering if that one problem "Downloading Game Settings" part was solved . Does it still do it???

Still there. All I do is turn of my system, restart it and it works fine.

don't know why it happens though

What problem??I always see downloading game settings for about 5 secs and then I can play.

i think they mean that it took forever to download the game settings, that sign would just sit there for like a min or two. from what I can tell its the Infinity ward servers sometimes can't handle it, but its fine now.
