COD4 PS3 filled with cheaters

Maybe you just have bad luck

People said there was a lot of cheaters in warhawk (and I believe them, apparently there is a notorious tank glitch) but I never saw anyone cheat

same thing with CoD4, its clean... I think

I just finished a few hours of gaming and the tables already are starting to turn for me.
At first i had a quite good accuracy, but thanks to campers i had to shoot more bullets per match,
and thus lowering my accuracy plus i get owned much faster this way cause of giving away my position.

I know Sony is doing everything they can to prevent cheaters....but,
Just yet, I tried to knife a guy in his face tree times, really i mean it, wish i had a cam...
he shoots me with one bullet and i'm whacked (no, no sniper)

This also happens pretty often.....i shoot a guy/girl thru his SKULL with 20 bullets or more (i'm not lying, i try to never do), he/she shoots, i'm dead. **** cheatersHC_error79

It's a lag issue, not cheating.

Okay, aiming for the head doesn't mean a hit. In fact, you take 20 shots, there's a pretty good chance that most of them missed. Look at the kill cam. One well-placed burst or shot is pretty destructive. You've got gotta learn the game man.pyrobrand

Well he might be right, sometimes people are just better, or understand the course or whatever better...Dont be discouraged. Plus camping isnt cheating, to be honest its just boring, I rather have more deaths, if that means more kills and more fun in the process....Plus if you are just worring about stats, then you gotta something else coming..

Its really just a lag issue. I knife people in the back one or twice all of the time and they don't die. I also knife first in head on collisions and I'm always the one to die. On the other hand, its happened the other way as well, where I'll see someone right if my face who knifes me, I don't die, so I knife them and move on. I'm not playing COD4 for a while because the lag is so horrible. I'm tired of loading several rounds into people and they don't die. I was easily going 20-3 in most games last week, but this week I can hardly get into a game, and when I do, its full of lag and I can't shoot anyone. Even if it looks like there is no lag, trust me, its there.TheCheat23k

Maybe you just suck? I mean... no offense but I play COD4 a lot and not many people camp (because of kill cams). If you tried to knife me and missed, I would (almost by instict) hold the fire button and try to shoot you down before you slash me again.

If you're using an assault rifle (or anything automatic) the accuracy is going to suck unless you learn to shoot in short bursts. I think you just need to work on your skill... and I bet you'll change your mind about the cheaters.

Camping is not cheating its being a "chicken". I rock at the game and I move 24/7 shooting everything even walls with no one behind it. You must just be pretty bad at the gameavataraang1

Shooting someone 20+ times, and then them putting you down with one shot is not a sign of being bad at the game, its a sign of cheaters. Camping however is for cowards, nothings better than sniping campers. I use to do it all the time when playing Counter Strike.

Shooting someone 20+ (and actually hitting them) and getting shot down with 1 shot is a sign of cheating, but shooting someone 20+ times (and missing every shot) is an accuracy issue. Short bursts... that's all you need. And also don't forget about the perks. A lot of people have the Juggernaut perk, so they're harder to take down.

Killcam is the solution to camping, so don't complain about it. It's hard to camp.

You probably have a bad ping, I had the same problem when I first started playing before I knew what my ping was, I used to unload half a clip in people (in their head even) and I'd get owned then I'd watch the Killcam and my gun didn't even fire form the other persons perspective.

Now I just leave games when I have a bad ping straight away, I just wish it wouldn't even join me to those games ruins my wins:losses cause when you leave it counts as a loss. It shows your ping on the score board if you didn't already now.

I'm getting my connection upgraded so I should have good pings on most games now.

While I agree campers are lame, they're disposed of easily enough, and it's not cheating to camp out. You need to utilize your skills and/or the skills of your teams better and you'll have much less of a problem.

I have seen a few times where someone gets in to the 'wall' at one point in some levels, they can shoot you but you can't shoot, grenade, knife or kill them in any other way that I've found so far. Those people I have made it a point to report on the IW forums.
