i think when you log in to play online cod4 it will tell you there is a patch to DL and it will do it for you at least thats how they do most patchesCommanderTy

The name's on create-a-class goes blank for me like every day. An annoyance, but the rank system is getting to be way more annoying.
I've been having the probem of my rank always being reset as of yesterday. I'm stuck at Lv55. I've entered prestige mode and gained an additional 10 ranks more than once, which are never saved. Every time i go back online...back to Lv55. This really makes me not want to play. I hope it's fixed soon.
I always have to recreate my custom classes when I logon I never had a problem with ranking before, but today, I went from 16 to 20 then the game froze so I had to reset. I restarted and it said in the barracks I was back at 16 but the leaderboard had my level 20 stats. Then I started to play and it started me at 16 I got to 17 then exited just to see if it would save...nope. I won't be playing until this gets fixed
I have this problem as well : ( It's really lame.. bleh I finally got my favorite gun, the G3, had the reflex scope.. bam, everything got sent back to lvl 24.. I thought maybe the server didn't save my info.. so I did it again.. BAM FAILED AGAIN.. My PSN is Reguile incase anyone wants to add me or something.. yea... thats about it. I'm not too mad, I am just INFURIATED AT THE WRATH OF GOD.. not really... but I am a little bummed out cause I hate redoing crap over.
