u kno wat ww2 isn't as fun and we already went in to the current warfare style but wat about world war 3 i kno its kinda tha same but this time the whole world against each other
I want to see it back in modern times but I don't think that Treyarch can pull that off. Treyarch will probably go back to WWII though. Back to the Pacifice Theatre era. Why can't IW be the devolper for all of the CoD games, not just the even numbered ones?
everyone is so quick to judge. I wouldnt be surprised if they came out with something that was better than 4. Obviously they are taking into account the success of 4.

i am taking into fact that its not being made by IW. but im sure that treyarch realizes how well cod4 by IW did. so they wont go to far from what they did with cod4

Personally, I think that's a dumb decision. I think people up this point have grown tired of that time period.
Veitnam would be cool, same with a modern shooter. I do believe WW2 has been done way to much and it needs to be put aside for a couple of years. Hell I'd be happy with a WW1 shooter.

Yea I heard the makers of 3 are making 5. And the makers of 4 "IW" are making 6 so? It a good way to go, if you want to get games out faster this Gen. Yea Infinity ward "who made CoD4," is not making Cod5
I heard that COD5 will set in the Pacific...if so...then I doubt it it will take place in modern time, instead it will take place back in WW2 fighting against the Japs. I dont know if its official, but I hope it takes place in the present time.

I agree, they should create new history, but not set in the future like Battlefield 2142, they should keep the modern warfare, but change the location and make-up a war, also they should bring in more guns and unlockables, and guns should be more customiseable, something for everyone.
