Codemasters F1 Game???

so codemasters is making the next F1 game. am i the only one who is worried about how this game will turn out. i own F1 Championship Edition for ps3 and i love the game. it is a little bit dry on the presentation side but as far as an F1 simulation it is outstanding. i am worried that codemasters are going to run this game into the ground. after playing the grid demo i pray to god they dont base this game off of the same handling/physics system. sony really should have kept the F1 liscense and built around what they already had in F1: CE . what are your thoughts?

you're right. i've played the grid demo and thought the handling and simulation was horrendous. luckily dirt and the old toca race driver games were done by codemasters and were really fun. i'm confident that codemasters will make a fairly decent game. with f1 they'll only have one type of car to simulate which will make a change from their usual collection of different car genres to drive.

and lets be honest, an f1 gme with up to date driver and team rosters is really needed. also all those new tracks will be included. i'm actually really looking forward to it

I don't know why but yesterday I put the F1 game on my console, and thought: "this is actually pretty good, the last time I played it was Oct 07 wow..." then I start to notice that there are no textures on the anything outside the track, the buildings and trucks (Specially in Monaco), it looked like Stunts for PC LOL.

I liked Grid, it is more of an arcade game, and I can only wish that Codemaster do not make a F1 Arcade game, it should be about the physics and simulation. Also the sound in the Sony game is amazing, every race the start sound when all the cars are racing is amazing.

isn;t it? i thought it was meant to be the next in the toca race driver series. they were pretty good simulators

seems like they will be including all the new tracks for the new season includin the singapore Night race. which will be great.

lets hope it doesnt turn out like grid.

and also if has to be a sim of cos. but it would be nice if they still hav options to make it easier to handle for those who jus wanna hav fun
