I've seen people consume themselves for the sake of completing challenges. And there are very hard ones believe me in "humiliation" and "elite" challenges.
I have completed all the challenges and I have a gold cross. Nothing really happens though. You just feel really good about yourself for like ten seconds before you realize how much time you invested in the game. Haha.
