Completely disappointed with Capcom

Yeah capcom seems to be going downhill...I'd say the last games they've had that are even mildly interesting are Devil may cry 3 and marvel vs. capcom 2..... As far as the recent stuff, pretty pathetic I have to say... Devil may cry 4 may redeem their name, or be like 2....and flop.... :(gamer_marrik

so, capcom gave out their 3 'big' announcements. i mean, i guess i can see how Steet Fighter 4 is a big, but I'm not impressed at all with their PS3 announcement. is that what they called 'big'?? lost planet??? c'mon! i mean, lost planet is okay, but we were hoping for them to announce a PS3 exclusive. it's just a bit disappointing that we didn't get that. what do you think?biggamerhk

You are certainly not alone in your disappointment. In fact, I'll come out and say it. Capcom's recent annoucement was a dud. Those are games few people care about, save Street Fighter, I suppose. But is anyone really that into fighting games anymore? Doesn't seem so to me. Lost Planet was mediocre to me, and I'm not the least bit excited about it coming to the PS3. Is this what we were all holding our breath for?:roll: Devil May Cry 4, all the attention is on you now. No pressure or anything..

It kinda is all riding on DMC4. Resident Evil 5 is slated for "sometime in 2009", in case you were wondering. And I very much doubt it will arrive early.

Are you being sarcastic? Street Fighter 2 Turbo Remix isn't exactly going to make an impact. And RE5 might be great, but it's probably a year and a half away. :|

A port of Lost Planet was suppose to be the big announcement? thats laughable at best and id rather have dead rising or atleast announce both will be coming to the ps3.

Jesus, it's not Capcom you guys should be disappointed with, it should be Sony. The reason why we aren't seeing any Capcom exclusives for the PS3 and why Street Fighter IV is avaible on 360 also is because the lack of sales in PS3. Because of the lacking sales we start to lose exclusives such as Kingdom Hearts to DS and why games like God Of War going PSP because these games are more profitable in those console than the PS3. Just look at Heavenly Sword, they spent millions of dollars and they could not even make up for that through sales. Mostly because people can just rent the game since its a short single player, but also because there's really not much PS3 owners. So blame Sony for this mess, not Capcom.suitmypants

My complaints have nothing to do with system exclusivity - I own a PS3 and a 360. Rather, a lack of quality in their game announcements. At least, none that interest me for the reasons explained above. I think system war and such arguments are childish, and annoying. I'm just disappointed with the games, period (except RE5 and DMC4).

I think the Bionic Commando announcement was sweet. Fan of the old game, glad they brought it back. Only hope they don't f'it up.

i dunno why u guys are pissed off... they didnt take anything away from PS3 except for MH, but instead they announced some games... maybe not all will appeal to you in particular but some1 did say they are developing a third person shooter exclusive to the PS3... and street fighter looks sweet, bionic commando, although i never played the original looks like something fresh. And why is it that there is a lack of PS3 sales? It's because people are choosing not to buy the PS3 because of it's "high" price tag. With a decent job at best you can have $500-$600 in 2-3 weeks. People are complaining that Sony is losing exclusives. Well obviously if a console doesn't have a high fanbase then companies like Capcom are gonna make PS3-exclusive games go multiplat. If people actually cared about Sony not losing exclusives then they'd get their butt straight to the nearest Best Buy or whatever and buy a freakin' PS3. I'd say it's more the consumer's fault for choosing not to buy a PS3.

lol no pressure on dmc4 its already a win win, its all on DMC5...which hopefully will be a PS3 exclusive concidering Ps3 will be dominating this holiday with all the games and price cuts
