Component Cables on a SDTV?

alot im using one, brighter colors more crisp graphics. Im getting the HDTV downstairs fixed so when thats fixed im gonnamove the PS3 there. But an SDTV without component cables is horrible. with them is fantastic.

Picture quality will be better. But you won't see that much of a difference.

That is completely wrong! Component video even on a SDTV will give you a much better picture. Composite video is absolute garbage. Component > S-Video > Composite. TC it is well worth purchasing component cables for your SDTV. Go do it.

OK I have component cables with my sdtv. When people say it does nothing that means nothing happens to the resolution it stays at 480i. But as another person said the colors are crisper and you cansee things alot clearer with them.

actually you will see a difference, i just bought componant cables for my ps3 for my sdtv and it is a very noticible difference, graphics are much crisper and shraper. Also it alowsyou to enable16:9 aspect ratio which makes a noticible difference. 20$ cables, definitly worth it
