I am a new PS3 owner, had mine about a month, a 40 GB model. And I have a lot of FPS games (only 1 of which I have played yet), and a couple of sports games. I notice that when I play NHL 08 or NBA 2K8 everything is smooth, but when I play Ghost Recon 2 I get an occasional hiccup in game play. Not an outright freeze, but a slight skip. Maybe only happens once in a mission, and not all missions. So is this just the PS3 trying to process all the chaos ion the screen or should I be concerned? Anyone else have this happen with GR2, thanks.

Unfortunately, many multi-plat games were made for 360 first and some weren't fully optimised on the PS3. The good news is that some developers are starting to develop for PS3 first now, because it's easier to port the games to 360... Or so I hear.
