Connect PS3 with EIZO FS S2411W-BK BLACK 24'' an my Speakers

Hello Everybody!!!:D

i have EIZO FLEXSCAN S2411W-BK BLACK 24''connected to my PC and with a HDMI-DVI cable to my PS3 .Great Signal.!!

My problem is that i can't connect the PS3 to my speakers because they don't have Optical-in ..

Now my Motherboard is P5W DH Deluxe and it has an optical-input and i wonder if it's possible to connect the PS3 with an Optical Cable to my MotherBoard and even when my PC is shut I will be able to use the speakers and listen the sounds from PS3??

Can anyone Help Me PLZ!!!!

I'm afraid that will not work. Your PC will need to be on in order to get sound from the PS3. Your other option is to purchase a speaker system like the ones that Logitech makesfor you PC that comes with an optical in port, or get a surround speaker system from Sony, Toshiba, or any of the other electronics brands for the PS3.
