Connecting PSP?

Hey guys, just got my PS3 a few days ago. Its ace. No problems what so ever so far :)

Just a quick question, will connecting my PSP to my PS3 let me play PSP games on my TV or what? If not then what does it do?

The PSP will be an expensive@$$ controler.

Actually, you can access PS3 hard drive files. You can watch movies previews/files from the PS3 on your PSP. You can download / buy items from the PSN on your PS3, then load them to your PSP (the PS3 has a larger hard drive, therefore can store way more than the PSP can). you can convert movie and video files on your computer into MP4 files and watch them on either the PS3 or the PSP.
