I've been using my PSP 1000 a lot lately, mostly just minis and demos that I downloaded, and am thinking about getting a Go now. Probably not going to do it for a few months just in case a Peace Walker bundle comes out or, purely speculation, Sony modifies the PSP again (cameras, more internal memory?). Anybody else feel like this isn't the last PSP hardware upgrade?

I am fairly sure that Sony will be bringing out another PSP reasonably soon. Also think it will be back to the UMD and essentially a "4000" - the Go was not an upgrade from a 3000 it was essentially a new product stream under the PSP banner!

Well I have had all PSP designs 1000 - to the PSP GO.

I still have 3000 & a Go. I sold all the UMD's I had completed. Gave the 3000 to my 11 year old son. Any game I download to the PSP GO he can play on his PSP 3000 for free as I use the same account for both. I can also play with my son ad hoc or via infrastructure - cool. So in a way I have saved money, well thats what I told the wife LOL.

Seriously I travel with my job & the PSP GO is perfect. One small portable PSP GO which I think has about 30 games & music on i.e 16gb hdd & 8gb M2 card. The PSP GO I feel is an alternative which I have found has made me play the PSP again.

The PSP GO works for me, and no game cases to carry round either. And that sound of the UMD drive.

Like BrightChild0 i use my go for the same amount of reasons. Its a psp alternative and not an iteration of the psp line itself. I use mine for music and games alot, like a charge and a half a day when school is in session. Its easy to change from one game to the other and i have that pause feature which is a lifesaver for me.

I only really started apreaciating the Go when i actually owned it and could

see all the neat features for myself. it is definatly worth the 250 belive me.

I also love the skype with the built in mic it works great.

I have a go and love it.

Only downfall is not all the games I want to play are on the PSN yet, I have never had a psp before so still missing some of the good games.

If you choose to purchase a Go, I strongly suggest trying to find a cheap deal on one from Ebay or Craig's List. Although I love the console itself, I just can't suggest buying it for the $250 price it goes for retail.
