considering trading ps3 in....i know its the ps3 forums...still need advice

WEll, Ive had a ps3 for a year now. I have one game (resistence), and 2 blue ray movies. I guess I bought it as a comfort zone type of thing. I have all the ps1 and ps2 classics and wanted all their new sequels on the same system.

I'm starting to get real fed up with waiting for the good games though. My folks barely ever let me hook it up to our high def too (and i can't argue cause i dont pay rent...Im 22). blue ray movies are pretty pointless at the time. My dad however, wants me to keep it for the bd player, for some reason? So Also akk the games that are multiplatform that i want are tending to come out for 360 first. My cousin wants to buy my ps3, 2 controllers, one game, and 2 bd movies off me for 400 dollars and hell throw in his ps2 so i can play my ps2 games still. Should i get an 360? I know this is a ps3 forum but id still appreciate your opinions !!! if so...what would be a good modeslty priced model to buy? Another factor in this has been that all my friends have one (its good to trade games). Also, what do you guys think the future state of the console is? This is also a factor for me! I apologize for the long thread, but would appreciate advice from fellow gamers.

there are a bunch of amazing games on 360 right now so it will keep you busy for awhile. the only thing about selling your ps3 is that you may have to get it again when mgs4 come out. but by that time the price should have dropped.kingtahktahkhuk

I like my ps3 but i have to say that i get more use out of my 360.There are a lot of good games out for it right now and its hard to keep up with them all.As for people telling u that cod 4 runs better on the ps3 there full of bull.Call of duty 4 is in my opinion way better on the 360 because of live.Xbox live is just simply way better than the ps3s online setup.Also there are good games coming out for the 360 in 08 as well.Honestly though ive never seen the need in selling one system to get another because it always comes back to bite u in the end.While the 360 has a great online setup and a ton of games there could be some great game that comes out for the ps3 down the road that u will wanna play.My advice is just save up your money and buy a 360 and keep your ps3 because sooner or later youll want it back for what ever reason.
