Alright, I have had my PS3 for about two years now. And when I charge my controller, after about 15 minutes, all four lights start flashing. However, when I check the instruction manual, it says after the controller is fully charged, only one single light will stay lit. So my question is, what gives? Even if I leave it charging with four lights flashing, it never switches to one solid light. If I hit the PS3 button, it starts to flash one single light again for about 15 minutes and then goes to all four flashing. When I check, the controller indicates "fully charged" but I don't trust it and then charge it again as just mentioned. I have the 60 gb Ps3 if that makes a difference. If anyone has an answer as to what the four flashing lights means, if you could enlighten me I'd appreciate it.

--Thanks

The four flashing lights mean that it's still charging. When it is done charging then it will stop flashing (all of them). Try charging it for an hour or 30 minutes. And if that don't work then you might have to get another.

Same happened to me, i believe it was something wrong with the controller hardware, so i just pressed the reset button on the back (a VERY small hole) with a toothpick and it turned back to normal.

I guess I will try to reset it, its frustrating otherwise not knowing if I have a full charge.
